WC fans: Put your shirt on Engerland
 |
Tell you what Clive, the hefty German contingent at Spreadshirt Towers aren't half cocky
about this World Cup business. But we've seen Robert Huth in action so we know better.
Which is why - though it may stick in the throats of the Irish amongst us -
we're backing England all the way this summer with our special World Cup microsite.
There's loads of ways you can get involved. For starters, there's a free England shirt up for
grabs if The Roon and co actually fire you lot to glory. Just order
anything from our World Cup shop before June 8th and you'll get the shirt if England win it.
Secondly, we want shop partners to get involved. Send us your design ideas or slogans
and we'll feature them on the site and send you some traffic to this email address: worldcup@spreadshirt.co.uk.
And if you've got a specific World-Cup related shop going on, read on for details of our very own World Championship....

You down with OLP? (Yeah you know me)
 |
|
OLP, how can I explain it? Our competition to create a new logo to replace the friendly, mildly 50's Americana-esque, Spreadwoman, has come to a close. AftWe've got a winner!
Spreadshirt has selected the Fingerprint by Tarzion.
Despite long discussion and deliberation, we're happy to have found the classy, flexible, and valuable entry.
We're now working hand in hand, Tarzion and the graphics department are creating the new Spreadshirt corporate identity.
This is a big deal. For a longer version of what this is all about, go here.
To keep up with the news, check out the Open Logo Project page. |

Top shop partner: Jerkass clothing
|
Coming over from sunny Texas, is the new European Jerkass shop .
The self-described "cheap, funny and generally offensive graphic novelty t-shirts for the world's spoiled youth".
The shirts are the brainchild of designer Angela Lee, who's "worked and played with the industry's elite.
I hand-stitched my first garment at an age when most little girls were learning to crayon". |
 |
And now she's taken on the magic marker of the extremely elite t-shirt designing world.
Fantastic designs, slogans, and a kickass combination of offensive, clever and wearable,
it's Spreadshirt's newest US import. Welcome!

Survey of the month: While there's still time...

 |
|
Last month's backpack survey, resulted in the Josh Bag being
introduced into the Spreadshirt product assortment. This month's survey asks what kind of skin
you'd like for dressing up your technology. For the uninitiated: skins are thin, flexible,
plastic covers that you can put on and take off your, for example, iPod, laptop, game console, PC...
We're thinking of offering customiseable skins in the shops, all you have to do is let us know which product
you'd like to dolly up for a night on the town (or, perhaps, a day in the office?). Choose from the
technology bits noted above, and make your voice known here. |
